The Golden Turtle includes various creative competitions aimed at identifying the best works and projects demonstrating the beauty and harmony of nature.
The first Golden Turtle wildlife photo contest was held in 2006, and in 2010 officially became an international photo contest.
The 2014 Golden Turtle Contest was attended by photographers from over 80 countries, where a jury selected the best shots from 15,000 submissions.
In few other cities is it possible to walk from spectacular location to spectacular location. Rob Whitworth had a fantastic time adventuring around Barcelona’s winding streets making this short film.

Swiss artist and photographer Fabian Oefner is on a mission to make eye-catching art from everyday science. In this charming talk, he shows off some recent psychedelic images, including photographs of crystals as they interact with soundwaves.
And, in a live demo, he shows what really happens when you mix paint with magnetic liquid–or when you set fire to whiskey.
Using a Phantom Flex High Speed camera, the Danish TV show “Dumt & Farligt” captures super slow motion footage of explosions and stuns like piercing a waterbed and watching the water rip across.
