BBC’s Human Planet explores the seafaring lifestyle of the Bajau, an indigenous ethnic group of Southeast Asia. For most of their history, the Bajau have been a nomadic, seafaring people, living off the sea by trading and subsistence fishing. They keep close to the shore by erecting houses on stilts, and traveled using handmade boats.
